Welcome to St Andrew's

loving God and loving people since 1901

We have good news to tell: God loves you. You are welcome. Come and worship God with us.

Sunday's at St Andrew's

  • What time does worship start?

Our worship at St Andrew's begins at 11am and usually lasts for one hour.

  • What usually happens?

This varies from week to week as every preacher is different.

However, during term time our children and young people join us for the first couple of hymns and we have a short all age talk.

Afer the second or so hymn then the children and young people go into the Hall with our Junior Church Leaders to learn more about Jesus together.

All our hymns and any other words we may say are displayed using PowerPoint.

  • What about Holy Communion?

We usually celebrate this once a month and as a Methodist Church we believe all are welcome at Jesus' table to receive Holy Communion. God's love knows no boundaries and Holy Communion is one way we experience His grace.

  • Other useful information

    * There is no formal dress code, and you are welcome to come as you are.

    * Unfortunately we do not have a creche at present.

    * There is a  ramp leading into church and we have disabled toilet faciltiies too.

    * There is a hearing loop available.
